Birth Doula Support

We take the invitation to your birth space with a deep sense of honor and compassion. We know choosing the people who will support you as you welcome your baby earth-side is not a decision you take lightly.

As birth doulas, we bring the experience of witnessing over 800 births across the Denver-metro area. Our support approach is rooted in that experience, providing well-rounded support that embraces all the ways birth can happen - and making sure that YOU remain the focus throughout your story. We understand the incredible power of having a team of doulas to support you, your partner, and your care team. We believe everyone deserves the support of a doula - and we know that you are the best person to make choices for yourselves throughout your pregnancy and birth journey. We believe in you, your body, your baby, and your birth.

We support you anywhere you choose to give birth - home, hospital or birth center - and have supported previous clients at every hospital and birth center from Littleton to Thornton to Conifer to Boulder and more.

Doula Services

  • Our doula support is unique to each client, but generally, you can expect:

    • Responsive support throughout your prenatal period, labor and delivery and immediate postpartum. We offer unlimited text, email, and call support prenatally, in person prenatal visits, and monthly gatherings for clients with our team. When you go into labor, you let us know when you need us, and we will meet you where you are - be that home or at your birth place.

    • A well rounded team by your side from the time you become our client forward. Because of our team structure, we can offer birth prep education, lactation education and concerns, offer an educated perspective on clinical concerns, help you get that yoga session in, and more - all within the team who will be a part of your birth day.

    • During your birth day, we help you know your options and communicate with your provider - so your wishes are known and your birth team is aligned. We support your partner to know how to support you - and we bring our ‘doula eye’ to reassure. We help you feel as strong as we know you are.

    • Postpartum support - we stay 1-2 hours after you have your baby to help everyone feel settled. And because each journey is so varied, this often looks quite different per client. We like to visit you at home at least once in the first week or so after your baby is born, and we have amazing connections within the community for postpartum doulas and other resources for the postpartum period.

Ash helped me with my third birth. It was my second home birth and I was terrified of going through labor again. With each baby, I had terrible back labor and was just hoping a doula might help with pressure points to give me some relief from the pain. Not only was she amazing at helping to minimize my back pain, but she was calming, knew when her presence was needed and when to hang back and just observe. She was the best support person in the room that day. I wouldn’t even allow my husband to try counter-pressure, because she did it so well! Her poor arms must have been sore the next day! I ended up being transferred to the hospital for post birth complications, and when we came home later that morning, everything from the birth was cleaned up. She truly went above and beyond and genuinely has a love and warmth for people. We went into that day as strangers and came out as friends. I am so grateful for her love and support!

Looking back at my birth I can’t imagine going through the experience without BreAnn by my side. BreAnn supported me (and my mother/support person) through a last minute induction due to preeclampsia followed by 4+ hours of pushing and finally an emergency c-section. Every step of the way BreAnn was there ensuring my needs were listened to. She was incredibly knowledgeable about various positions and support measures that we could utilize given the constraints of the hospital and my preeclampsia. BreAnn even supported me in the operating room and immediately after my c-section despite having been up from the early morning supporting an incredibly hands on labor. If you are looking for compassionate hands on and emotional support for your labor I can’t recommend BreAnn enough, you will feel empowered and informed every step of the way.
